Perkiomen Bridge Hotel (PA)

A high-quality art print of a vintage 1950s matchbook from the Perkiomen Bridge Hotel in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.

Established around 1706, the Perkiomen Bridge Hotel was originally known as Lane’s Hotel and served as a key stop along the Philadelphia to Reading carriage route. Located beside the historic Perkiomen Bridge, the inn expanded over the centuries to accommodate travelers and locals. In the early 1900s it became a popular destination for summer recreation and later a well-known gathering place for students from Ursinus College.

Despite its rich history, the hotel faced challenges in recent decades. After being auctioned in 2010, it suffered from neglect and damage, including flooding from Hurricane Ida in 2021. Recognizing its historical significance, local authorities and preservationists have advocated for its restoration, emphasizing its role as a landmark in Collegeville’s heritage.

Front and back designs are offered separately when available. Select your preferred side or pair them together.
